Manage server rooms

Introduction

To manage the rooms of your homeserver, navigate to the Rooms tab.

Search for rooms

Use the search bar to search for rooms in your homeserver. Enter the room name, ID, or alias.

View room information

1. Go to the Rooms tab.

2. Click the room that you want to view.

   You can view the following details:

   • Local members. The number of local members in the room
   • Local devices. The number of local devices in the room
   • Guest access. Whether guest members can join the room
   • State events.
   • Newest message. When the newest message was sent to the room
   • Forwards extremeties count.
   • Forgotten?. The room is forgotten, if all members, including the room admin, have left the room.

Delete a room

1. Go to the Rooms tab.
2. Click the room on the All Rooms list that you want to delete.
3. Select Delete room.

Export a room

1. Go to the Rooms tab.
2. Click the room that you want to export.
3. Select Export.
