Create an account

Introduction

In SalaX Secure Messaging, there are two ways to create an account depending on your organization's settings:

A. Create an account with a username and password. B. Create an account by signing in with a social account (single sign-on).

NOTE.Depending on the organization’s configuration, account creation may be disabled. In this case, the option to create a new account may not be visible.

Create an account with a username and password

  1. Enter your homeserver address and select Create Account.

  2. Enter your username, password, and email address, then select Register.
You may be asked to complete a verification step to confirm you are not a robot.

  3. Review the homeserver terms and conditions and select Accept.

  4. Confirm your account by clicking the link in the verification email.
If you did not receive the email, select Resend it.

  5. Set an access code and select Continue. This access code is required to decrypt your end-to-end encrypted message history in the future.
If the system prompts you to set an access code, make sure to choose one and store it securely. If the access code is lost, you will no longer be able to access your previously encrypted message history. If your organization has enabled key recovery mode, you may not see this option.

  6. You are redirected to the SalaX Secure Messaging home page.

NOTE. If your administrator has disabled this feature, sign in with a social account, instead. For instructions, refer to Single sign-on. If you can't sign in with any social account, contact your administrator.
